The Parang machete is hand-forged at the Dao Ren Viet workshop (Dong But, Kieu Phu, Hanoi). A 270mm steel blade, heat-treated to 61–63 HRC, sharpened by hand on water stones.
The padauk handle is turned and polished by hand, secure even when wet. Every knife ships in a black box printed with the workshop logo.

Wash by hand straight after use and dry with a cloth. No dishwasher, no hard bones or frozen food.
Wipe a thin film of mineral oil on the blade for long storage. Re-sharpen on water stones when dull; the workshop re-sharpens for free, for life.
