FAQ

Frequently
asked questions.

Yes. The workshop is open to visitors from 8:00 to 17:30 on weekdays except Sunday afternoon. Please call ahead so we can lay out the models you are interested in — many knives are in custom orders and are not always on the shelf. You can hold them, test them on a board and compare balance between lines.

In-stock items: 1–2 days within Hanoi and 2–4 days to other provinces. Custom or engraved knives need another 5–10 working days depending on complexity. We send the tracking number as soon as the parcel leaves the workshop, and every knife ships in a wooden box with a blade guard.

Yes. You choose the steel, blade length, spine thickness, handle wood and engraving. A custom order starts with a short chat about how you cook, then we quote the price and lead time — usually 3–5 weeks, longer before Tet. A 50% deposit is taken when the design is agreed.

Knives we forged are re-sharpened and tuned free for life, as often as needed. You only pay one-way shipping when sending it back. We also sharpen other makers’ knives for a fee based on blade length and chipping, quoted before we start.

Bank transfer with QR code, cash on delivery for orders under 5,000,000₫ in Vietnam, and PayPal for international orders. Custom and international orders are not eligible for COD. VAT invoices on request.

Yes — we have shipped to Japan, France, Australia, the US and Singapore. Allow 7–14 days by tracked express. Each country has its own rules and import duties for knives, which the recipient pays; tell us where you live and we will check before you order.
